My artwork engages and interrogates Zygmunt Bauman’s conception of a “liquid modernity”. Resulting from this dialogue, I attempt to foreground a range of transformational contemporary concerns (climate crisis, speculative markets, gender precariousness, mass-migration, technological revolution, etc.) as a state of liminality where objects and emotions remain in flux. The ambivalence and variety of interpretations in my work may open a dialogue about how our cognitive experience unfolds and questions our personal and collective knowledge. My installations are devised with sensors, virtual reality, 360 video/image and original sounds or compositions.
