Hi, my name is Patrick Gaffney. As a Graphic Designer, I focus primarily on branding, typography, illustration and layout. In my work I have great interest in storytelling and visual identity.

I believe that a clear and engaging narrative can be one of the most useful tools to a designer, whether in advertising, entertainment, or UX, to create strong and seamless connections between user and content.


By Patrick Gaffney. This was a promotional campaign/rebranding project for my college campus. I produced a proximity-based poster campaign, to display its position in relation to a central installation to embody the new, megalithic, brand identity and logo.

By Patrick Gaffney. This was a hotel branding project positioned to be North of Galway City and inspired by the River Corrib.

By Patrick Gaffney. Finally, this is a work in progress preview of my final year project in design, a picture book, inspired by the brief “Changemakers,” illustrating a journey through burnout.
