Darren Hogan
I am a 4th year design student studying gaming and animation in GMIT. I’ve always had a deep love for art and gaming and hope one day to turn my passion into a profession. I have been recognized for my work numerous times in various art competitions and commissions.
Throughout my studies I became greatly interested in 3D modelling especially in the 3D software Blender and I find the tools and processes easy and fun. I hope one day to work as part of a company creating 3D models and 3D animations for different projects. I’m hardworking, dedicated and always try to push myself to learn new things.
Kelly Mc Ginty
I am a big fan of Anime so for my pieces of work two of the pieces are my own characters (ocs) that are based around fantasy and in anime style drawing. The first piece is a college project for a turnaround of a oc, the next two are just my own ocs that I drawn in my own time outside of college. Given the choice to pick I decided to present work of my very own as in my own time for a while I have drawings my own ocs and decided to share them like this

Artist Statement
My work is influenced by the coastlines that surround me in north Mayo, where I find myself engulfed by beautiful and captivating colours, patterns, textures, and movement.
My investigation of this landscape has drawn my attention to some of the large-scale buildings that are doted around the coastline. These structures like all manufactured objects are created from materials that originate from nature and are then encapsulated by humans but are then accepted and embraced back by nature.
I Initially photograph and sketch my different observations, followed by developing a suitable colour pallet for the pieces. My paintings are mostly consisting of large scale works on canvas, using oil paint with various mediums.
